I didn't know that was possible. But I guess almost anything is possible in this technological age. <br />I was looking for an email address to reach you at but couldn't find one so I decided to leave a comment here instead. I have a 19-month old son with Down syndrome. In the interest of keeping in touch with far away relatives and friends, and hopefully providing support, insight and inspiration, I set up a blog. I only started it last month. It's called <A HREF="http://billandria.blogspot.com" REL="nofollow">Bill and Ria - Sharing experiences about life, parenting and Down Syndrome</A>. I also set up a blogroll, wherein I've organized blogs by age of the individuals with Down syndrome. Please feel free to look at it at your leisure. As I take Big Brother to school in the morning he always looks toward the mountains, we are surrounded by mountains 360 degrees and he looks for any signs of snow on the tops. Occasionally, you can see snow on the mountain tops as you look north. It is so hard sometimes to find support and understanding. I am a twin and we have an older brother so my mother had her hands full. I call her for advice sometimes because she is my Mom and I have always looked to her for advice. I find myself longing for understanding from my family. They don't understand what it is like because they are not the ones living with my child. It is hard because this is one situation where I can not relate to my mother and sister. "Dr. Todd" as Billy Ray calls him did wonderful - BR was off the ventilator and awake in recovery almost immediately. They look so peaceful:)<BR/><BR/>My faith in God helps me to get through each day with K.C. especially on the tough days. I know that God is watching over us and that I always have someone to talk to that listens. Some days it is very hard to find the strength to get through the day but I know that God gives me the little push that I need so that I can take care of the boys. Being Jewish and not being able to go to Synagogue when I really want to go is tough. I want to be there every Saturday very badly but can only go when I have extra help with K.C. at home. On the days that I cannot go I do read from the Torah but it's not the same as learning and hearing what the Rabbi says. <BR/><BR/>We are very much alike Peggy Lou:) Our faiths keep us strong for our boys and our love for God. <BR/><BR/>I feel religion is so very important in raising children. I see many many families who don't go to church and have no desire to do so. I think it's a shame that they deny their children a relationship with God.<BR/><BR/>I can't wait for the days that K.C. and Big Brother and I can all go to synagogue together as a family. I have prayed for it everynight. <BR/><BR/>When did Billy Ray start going to church?
